All about Coca Cola Scholarship 2015 Program, application and deadline

Is the Coca Cola scholarship for you?

Want a good start in life? Perhaps you qualify for the Coca Cola scholarship, an annual reward that benefits over 1400 students each year. The Coca Cola scholarship pushes these students through further education and has paid well over $3.4-million (in 2014) with its nationally recognized programs. Most of the applicants and winners of the Coca Cola scholarship have struggled through many personal hardships and are actively reaching their goals in life. So how did Coca-Cola do it and more specifically, how will you get there?

Getting there
The Coca Cola scholarship needs high school seniors in the U.S. only wishing to apply for a four-year scholarship. If you apply before October 31 each year, perhaps you too can get this coveted educational prize. Some of the colleges that have seen a Coca Cola scholarship student include Harvard, Princeton and Yale.

The minimum requirements for getting into the scholarship program includes:
Being in high school, or being home-schooled. You must also be a senior student in the U.S. You must also be planning to pursue a degree at one of the many accredited U.S. post secondary institutions. Finally, you must have a 3.00 minimum GPA upon the completion of high school.

Applicants must apply from August and before the end of October. There are only 150 Coca-Cola Scholars who receive the $20 000 scholarship. Others receive the smaller amounts for community collages, which ranges from $1500 to $1000. Students can also apply for a $1000 community collage degree/diploma for a shorter two-year course. The application is online only.

This process is exceptionally demanding and in order to receive the $20 000 scholarship for use at any major U.S. university means having extreme dedication. All finalists are reviewed by mid-November, whereby the finalists are chosen in January, and asked to submit further information by February. Those who are not chosen will receive a stipend of $1000 to go towards their education.
